Samantha Gold is a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University and received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. Samantha has specialized training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Ms. Gold has experience working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, relational issues, and stress and trauma. Samantha takes an eclectic approach to therapy including Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral, Emotionally-Focused, and Experiential orientations. Samantha is a member of the American Counseling Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia. She is practicing under the direction and supervision of Alan Behrman, PhD.
