Emma earned her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University School of Medicine. Before that, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology at Kennesaw State University.
Emma believes therapy should feel like a conversation, not a chore. She focuses on making her clients feel heard and understood, blending different approaches like Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. Whether you’re navigating a big life change or just trying to make sense of things, Emma will meet you where you are and work with you to create a plan that feels right. Her goal is to offer a space where you can show up as your true self without fear of judgment. And because she believes laughter is a big part of healing, she’s not afraid to bring a little humor into the process when it feels right.
Emma works with clients facing a variety of challenges, including grief and loss, self-esteem struggles, big life changes (like divorce, starting a new job, or switching schools), anxiety, and adoption-related issues.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll find Emma spending time with friends and family, cheering at local sporting events, trying out new restaurants, or at the dog park with her two golden retrievers.
