Jessica Bosson, Psy.D.
Dr. Bosson earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology—Washington, DC campus, her MA in Clinical Psychology from The Georgia School of Professional Psychology, and her BS in Psychology from Kennesaw State University. She has experience working with individuals across the developmental lifespan and particularly enjoys providing psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Bosson has served in college counseling and private practice settings treating diverse populations. She has a passion for working with individuals who present with anxiety (generalized, social, or specific phobias), difficulties coping with life stressors, self-esteem and depression concerns, and all manor of interpersonal challenges.
Dr. Bosson’s style is warm and casual. She understands the importance of validation when clients feel stuck, overwhelmed, or hopeless. She strives to create a safe space to work together with clients toward shared goals. Dr. Bosson encourages clients to make positive changes toward personal growth while helping them understand themselves better and teaching them adaptive coping skills. She recognizes the vulnerability it takes to begin therapy; thus, she takes a personalized approach with each client while using evidenced-based practices.
