Meredith is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with extensive training in psychotherapy. She holds a BA and BSN from Emory University, an MFA from Brandeis University, and an MSN from Georgia State University. She has worked with adults, adolescents, and children in psychiatric emergency, inpatient psychiatric treatment, residential treatment, and addiction medicine. She enjoys the opportunity private practice provides for establishing a deeper, longer-term relationship with clients. She continues her psychotherapy training at the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute where she is also a member of the Executive Committee.
Meredith approaches treatment with warmth and empathy and focuses on establishing a strong working alliance with her clients. It is in the context of a meaningful therapeutic relationship where understanding, insight, and change happens. Meredith provides psychotherapy and psychiatric medication as needed.
