Whitney M. Rudd is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a certification from the National Board for Certified Counselors. Whitney earned her degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University and has worked with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings.
She uses the following approaches to therapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person- Centered, and emotionally Focused Therapy interventions. She provides individual, group, family and couples counseling. Whitney specializes in the following areas: anxiety, depression, anger management, eating disorders, life transitions, suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, family life and relational issues.
Whitney believes that life is a journey, and life can take us to strange and scary places at times, but one of the greatest essences in life is being able to connect with other people to encourage, support and inspire. Whitney’s overall goal is to help each client feel supported and to assist them in working towards obtaining peace, healing and wholeness in their lives.
